Irish Nationals 2019-Kinsale

It was a long trip to Kinsale. but the food and the welcome by Kinsale Yacht Club made it all worth while. The weather was not particu;arly kind, with Saturday blowing an unusual SE wind that lead to a swell and chop in the Estuary, that meant sailing was cancelled. That did however leave us time to explore Kinsale with its amazing array of eating and drinking options.... it was tough.

Sunday however gave us a glorious day and the club running us 4 suburb races, the tide proving challenging to some. Meg was once again in a different league, giving the locals an excellent display on how to sail a 2.4mR well. The locals , quite rightly, thought the 2.4mR was a beautiful boat and that they would love to sail one.. we hope they do.
